Terms of use

Last updated: August 28, 2026

These terms govern the use of Hito, the personal finance app (hereafter, «the app») and this website. By creating an account or using the app you accept these terms. If you disagree, you must not use Hito.

1. What Hito is

Hito is an app that helps you track a savings goal: you log your movements and the app calculates when you'll reach your goal, expressed as a date. Some premium features use artificial intelligence to write suggestions based on figures already calculated; others are internal calculations with no artificial intelligence.

Hito is not professional financial advice. The figures, dates and suggestions you see are indicative, calculated from the data you enter yourself. Any financial decision you make is your own and your responsibility.

2. Your account

To use the app you sign in with "Continue with Apple" or "Continue with Google" — no Hito password to create or remember. On the website, the account is created with an email address and a password. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. The data you enter (income, expenses, goal) must be your own and, as far as reasonably possible, accurate — Hito calculates your date from what you tell it.

3. Premium subscription

Some features require a paid subscription: the 'where to cut back' analysis (when available) and Explore your path. The subscription:

  • Is purchased and charged through your Apple account (App Store), at the price shown in the app at the time of purchase.
  • Renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annual, whichever you choose), unless you cancel it beforehand.
  • Is cancelled from your Apple account's subscription settings, not inside Hito — Apple handles the billing.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy, not directly by Hito.

You can restore a purchase you already made from the "Restore purchases" section in your Profile.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Hito for unlawful purposes, to try to access other users' data, or to interfere with the normal operation of the service. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate this.

5. Service availability

We do our best to keep Hito available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted operation: there may be maintenance, incidents, or changes to the available features.

6. Your account and your data

You can stop using Hito and ask for your account and data to be deleted at any time by writing to hitoapp.contacto@gmail.com. More detail on what data we store and how, in the privacy policy.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Hito evolves. If the change is significant, we'll notify you inside the app before it takes effect.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law.
